What Is Urology?
Our physicians limit their practice to the specialty of Urology, which treats diseases of the kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra, and the prostate and reproductive systems in men. Pediatric Urology deals with similar diseases in children. Urological Oncology is the treatment of cancer involving the structures noted above.

We perform surgery and medically treat the diseases of these organs and related structures.

We are pleased to be able to offer our patients the most current and innovative therapies for the treatment of many urologic conditions. Some of the newest forms of treatment for common problems that may be offered by your doctor today are still in the study phase-not yet approved by the FDA for general patient use outside of the specified protocols. All of our research studies are FDA approved, monitored, and reviewed by an Institutional Review Board. Not all of our patients will qualify for a research study, but many will. Most of these studies provide your monitoring visits, labs and medications at no cost to you. If you do choose to participate in one of our studies, we will ask you to read and sign a consent before any study procedures can be done.
