Boyd Obstetrics and Gynecology is centrally located in the Midwest. Dr. W Marc Boyd, Jr. opened the practice in 1994. Serving the Greater Peoria Tri-County area, Boyd Obstetrics and Gynecology is located at 900 Main Street, Suite 660, Peoria, Illinois 61602. We pride ourselves on providing every patient with outstanding services without sacrificing warmth or personal attention. We are dedicated to providing for the special health needs of women of all ages, whether they are just entering puberty, expecting a baby, or traveling through menopause. Our warm professional, compassionate, staff is trained to give the highest quality of care to our patients, including adult and adolescent gynecology, obstetrics and infertility, gynecologic surgery as well as minimally invasive surgeries that are done in the comfort and convenience of our office. Our women’s healthcare team of Dr. Boyd specializing in minimally invasive surgeries, our midwife Dana Humes Goff, whom was the first midwife to be credentialed at Peoria hospitals to attend deliveries, Lindsey Fritz our Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, and Susan Canty our Certified Physician Assistant work well in utilizing their expertise to offer the best individualized care to promote wellness in women.
Boyd Obstetrics and Gynecology is a leader within the central Illinois area in offering women the choice of minimally invasive surgery such as permanent birth control known as the Essure procedure or Thermachoice to end heavy bleeding, or the LSH procedure and Pelvic Prolift to correct Pelvic Prolapse. Dr. Boyd is specialized in his continuing efforts of promoting minimally invasive surgery options to women.

Appointments and Cancellations
We are always accepting new patients. To schedule an appointment, we ask patients to call us at least 24 hours in advance. This makes it possible to give your time to another patient who might need it, if you should decide to cancel.
Our Office Hours
The office is open from 8:00a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday except for lunch hour from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m., and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 12 noon. We realize that our patient's time is valuable and make every attempt to keep our office appointments on schedule. Please understand that we frequently deal with emergency situations. We try to be as accommodating to everyone as possible.
