A Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center, Via Christi-St. Francis can assemble its Acute Stroke Response Team in the emergency room on 15 minutes notice. Working with ground and air ambulance services, the team puts brain-preserving treatment--including the clot-busting drug t-PA--within reach of any Kansan during the first, critical hours after a stroke. Neuroscience Implant Program
For people with severe spasticity, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, brain injuries, Parkinson's Disease and other conditions, advanced neuro implants may offer the promise of a more normal life. More

Outpatient Specialty Clinics
In Via Christi's outpatient specialty clinics, coordinated teams of board-certified specialists, resident physicians, nurses with special training, rehabilitation therapists, psychologists, social workers and others work as a team to follow patients with particular conditions.
