Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery
Via Christi Regional Medical Center is No.1 in Kansas in 2008 for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, according to HealthGrades, an independent hospital quality ratings company. We are located in the middle of Wichita, the heart of Kansas.

HealthGrades also ranks Via Christi among the Top 5 percent in the nation for Cardiac Surgery and in the Top 10 percent in the nation for Overall Cardiac Services—leading to its having received 2008 HealthGrades Cardiac Care and Cardiac Surgery Excellence Awards.

Via Christi Regional Medical Center was the first in the area to offer open heart surgery and other advanced procedures. Today it is the site of the state's largest heart program, the only one in Kansas where heart transplants are performed with full inpatient and outpatient services at two campuses, and we offer a full range of cardiovascular services.
