Michael B. Stevens, M.D., Ph.D., is a cosmetic plastic surgeon with over a decade of experience as a leader in providing innovative plastic surgery to the Central Valley region of California. He is in private practice at the Plastic Surgery and Laser Center in Visalia, and is a partner with Zein E. Obagi, an internationally acclaimed dermatologist, at the Obagi Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, and Laser Center in Beverly Hills. He is also chief consultant in Plastic Surgery to the Obagi Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His primary expertise is in the field of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery with a specialization in surgical techniques for the improvement in the appearance of the face, breast, and body.
Keeping at the forefront of technological advances, Dr. Stevens is involved in numerous professional organizations. In addition to being Board Certified in Plastic Surgery, he is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Lipoplasty Society of North America, as well as an associate member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Stevens is recognized for the introduction and application of a variety of innovations in plastic surgery to the Central Valley of California. His pioneering techniques include laser skin resurfacing and laser facial surgical procedures such as endoscopic surgery of the face, abdomen and breast, and ultrasound assisted liposuction. His work has also included procedures such as the minimal incision underarm approach to breast augmentation with saline implants, facial rejuvenation procedures combining the facelift with laser and the Obagi Blue Peel techniques, and also "own tissue" breast reconstruction (including microsurgical techniques).
