Dr Chirantan Ghosh, M.D., F.A.C.P., is the founder of Iowa Blood and Cancer Care, P.L.C. Dr Ghosh is board Certified and Recertified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology. He is author and co-author of many publications in numerous peer-review journals. His fellowship training involved development in clinical trials. And since he has moved to Cedar Rapids in 1990 he has been very involved in clinical research and is an N.C. I. investigator.
Being born in Calcutta, India near Mother Theresa’s Church, he migrated to USA in 1982. He is married and very proud of his wife Sima and children Tamaya and Neele.
"For him, medicine is not so much a career as it is a spiritual journey". Stated by the Linn County Medical Society when Dr Ghosh was recognized as the 2006 recipient of the Lee Hawkins Award for Collegiality/Humanitarianism.
