The Disability Program Navigator helps people with disabilities “navigate” through the enormous challenges of seeking work. The Navigator will:
Assist people with disabilities to access and navigate programs.
Guide workforce staff in helping people with disabilities access and navigate the various programs and services.
Develop linkages and collaboration with employers to facilitate job placements.
Facilitates the transition of youth with disabilities to secure employment and economic self-sufficiency.
Conduct outreach organizations and agencies that serve people with disabilities.
Serves as a resource to the workforce investment community to assist individuals with disabilities to enter and remain in the workforce.
